Sensibo Unveils the Sensibo Blaze: Smart AI Heating Control with Innovative TRV Climate Technology
The world’s first smart TRV Controller with Indoor Air Quality Monitoring will allow users to heat their homes while reducing their energy consumption and decreasing their carbon footprint
Tel Aviv, September 1st, 2023 – Sensibo is proud to pre-launch the Sensibo Blaze, a smart TRV (Thermostatic Radiator Valve) for the European market, the world’s first TRV Controller with Indoor Air Quality Monitoring. The leading Climate Tech company combining smart heating and cooling devices with a more sustainable world, is pre-launching at IFA Berlin the Sensibo Blaze, a smart TRV (Thermostatic Radiator Valve) consisting of hardware and Sensibo’s mobile application while supporting Matter for seamless interoperability. The new product optimizes energy usage with AI-powered smart features set to transform the way indoor heating is managed, ushering in a new era of energy efficiency and comfort.
Presently, the majority of households rely on outdated and inefficient heating solutions, lacking connectivity and energy-saving features. The consequence is an inability to regulate indoor climates remotely, resulting in wasted energy, discomfort, and increased expenses. This issue is particularly critical given that a significant 62% of energy consumption in European homes is attributed to space heating, a substantial financial burden exacerbated by recent fluctuations in gas prices due to geopolitical factors.
Sensibo Blaze utilizes cloud computing that processes more than 1.2M HVAC actions a day. Sensibo’s cloud measures the energy usage of the heating device by using the temperature and humidity measurements gathered from the room environment. Sensibo’s algorithms have access to billions of daily climate measurements, the user’s actions and weather conditions. The result is an energy saving average of 20%, both for the energy bill and the world’s climate.
Sensibo Blaze is the world’s first TRV Controller with Indoor Air Quality Monitoring. This feature empowers the device to detect and quantify indoor pollutants such as CO₂ and TVOC, combining them with humidity and temperature to calculate an indoor air quality score. The proprietary PureBoost™ system interconnects all Sensibo products into a seamless ecosystem, allowing devices to collaborate harmoniously.
The integration of OpenAI's ChatGPT enhances the Sensibo Blaze's user experience by suggesting personalized recommendations based on individual behavior patterns. This includes automated schedules aligned with user preferences and Climate React personalized suggestions. The Sensibo Blaze further stands out with its AI and ML capabilities, offering smart statistics that enable profound learning and optimization. Matter is the driving force behind Sensibo's Blaze design, ensuring seamless interoperability and platform independence. With Sensibo Blaze, users can effortlessly control their smart home devices from any platform of choice while embracing the cutting-edge potential of Matter.
“Sensibo has already enhanced hundreds of thousands of homes globally, ushering in smart climate control that reduces energy consumption and emissions. It's now time for European homes, which dedicate a significant portion of their energy use to heating, to embrace a smart solution for a better climate,” says Ran Roth, CEO and Co-Founder of Sensibo. “I believe in making every home a haven of comfort, even amidst the chill of European winters. Sensibo Blaze has the power to transcend climatic challenges. At Sensibo, we are committed to a better climate by melding innovation with thermal comfort within every European home.”
Sensibo unveils the Sensibo Blaze at IFA Berlin on September 1st, marking the start of its pre-launch showcase. The product is slated for official purchase release at Q4 2023, presented as a comprehensive kit featuring two smart TRVs, a WiFi Bridge, and the Sensibo Mobile app. Installation is as effortless as changing a light bulb—users simply replace their outdated TRVs with the Sensibo Blaze, which seamlessly connects to WiFi networks. Remote control functionality via the mobile app is augmented by full compatibility with voice assistants such as Google Assistant, Alexa, Siri, and Apple HomeKit. The TRV is being exhibited at the Sensibo booth at IFA in Hall 22 booth 207.
